Built a tolerance to meds

I’ve been taking more of my medications than I should have been for a while now. The problem I have is this dose is now no longer having an effect.
They not only don’t work for the initial problem they were prescribed for but also now don’t give me that ‘buzz’ that I would get from taking a higher dose.
I want to get back on track - how long do you think it would take for the tolerance to go if I stop taking them completely and for them to start working again at the prescribed dose?

I think you really need to speak to a clinician. You may need to do a reverse titration rather than just stop.
