I rang an addiction support line recently and got talking to someone who was sober but had experienced addictions with drugs, alcohol and gambling. Although we have different addictions I could relate to what she said.
It got me thinking that all addictions seem to be rooted in escapism. Just thought I'd start a discussion/support thread.
