Do I have a problem?

Or rather, I have a problem how much of an issue is it?
Over time, I got to a point where I was drinking everyday- sometimes only 1 beer/glass of wine; other times bottle of wine/ 3-4 beers / 3-4 vodka & soda. But I couldn't remember last day I didn't have an alcoholic drink.
Decided to do dry January to break the habits. Was fine for first 3 weeks. Then Sunday - had some bad news plus a stressful day plus sons 20th birthday so had couple of glasses of wine. Monday - finished the bottle plus a vodka; tues go get wine- finish bottle; today have a beer decide might as well finish rest of vodka. Its starting to feel like I'm justifying or excusing my drinking. I lie about how much I've had cos the reality sounds worse.
I have a problem don't I?

I'm sorry I think you do. Sounds like you aren't able to control your consumption. Have you read any books about addiction or talked to anyone in real life?

I found 'The unexpected joy of being sober' very helpful

I'm sorry, but I agree that is sounds like an addiction already.
