Does wine cause reflux

So Iv been drinking wine regularly for around 2 years . And I'm having symptoms of reflux . It's no taste when I burp but definitely think this could be the cause , also smoking as well . Iv quit drinking wine now and trying to quit smoking by using the patch's . Has anyone else experienced this ?

Forgot to add , Iv been to the docs and has tests and stuff . I have no pain in my throat just find I burp often , specially if I drink wine . I burp every sip I have lol ! My diet is pretty crap with takeaways and stuff so trying to change that . Docs are not concerned at all and think it's my diet and stress related which I agree as I have bad anxiety and been very stressed past month . Also had ibs symptoms when stressed . Iv been prescribed anti acids
