Hi,
I have been a heavy weed smoker for around 3/4 years now. I started of smoking socially and then developed a habit, due to the relief I get after smoking. I suffer from anxiety and the weed really helps me to relax and stay somewhat sane.

My partner and I have been discussing having a baby for a while now, and will definitely be trying after this covid-19 pandemic is over...However I really want to get rid of this habit before I even begin my pregnancy.

I know there isn't meant to be any risks to stop smoking weed, but if can anybody give me some tips on how to slow down or stop I would be really grateful. Especially from the females as I am one myself.

Thank you!

Look into Narcotics Anonymous / you can get social support from very friendly welcoming peers. Cannabis can really damage the fetus so please stay safe 🙏🏼

I've quit 3 times now. Just gradually decrease your usage slowly then move from skunk to like a thai til you are smoking so little its not worth the effort.
