Hi

Anyone who uses this - do you know
if you have to use both shampoo and the conditioner to get the full benefit?

I’ve been using both but 1) I do t rate the conditioning effect of the conditioner and 2) Its not much cheaper than getting my roots done!

Ideally want to stop buying the conditioner.

Any thoughts welcome, thanks.

No wonder it’s so expensive if I’m their only customer. 😊

Tiny bump.

I just posted a query about it today and then saw your post :)

I don't bother with the conditioner, no, I don't feel that makes any difference, well not if your motivation is disguising grey anyway.

I actually use a bit of Just for Men Control GT shampoo mixed in with the Plantur 39 Brown shampoo, as on my hair anyway this seems to do best for grey coverage.

The Plantur Brown on its own doesn't cover grey well enough IMO, whereas Control GT on its own covers well, but very ashen result, the 2 together give acceptable grey cover and brown colour for me. (I don't bother getting my hair coloured.)

Ashen is probably the wrong word, I mean JFM shampoo covers grey hair well but makes it dark and a bit cold in tone, whereas adding the Plantur Brown in gives a richer, warmer tone.

Used to use Plantur but find John Frieda Defy Grey more effective (and cheaper).

That sounds like a great idea!! Never thought of mixing the two

Hadn't considered the John Frieda ones. Will do my research on that one too.

I use it.
I didn’t use the conditioner at first but when I did I got a better colour and coverage of the greys.
it is expensive though and was thinking of using a box dye instead.
