Pirate thats so funny about the linen crinkle dress as I wore last year's version through-out the whole of my pregnancy

I liked stuff for DD and for me the boyfriend cardigan in slate is really lovely - nice cut and quality.

Will send back the gypsy dress for dd as it's rubbish quality.

Stencil top is a v. poor fit on me so will go back too.

Struggling to decide about the three cardigans I bought and would welcome opinions!

Mine arrived today (yay), both the 'colourblock summer dress' and the 'must have shift' (why do they call their clothes such stupid names?) look good but are a little baggy around the stomach.

My first order arrived yesterday and I am gutted to be sending 10 out of the 11 items back. I thought Boden wrap dresses were meant to be the bee's knees???? It just didn't do it for me - it was a lovely length but I think the half collar bit was the bit I couldn't do with. The twist front jersey dress was just an awful shape on me too.

Second order just arrived this morning - but it's all for DH and DC as I felt so guilty when I made the first order all for me!

And I bet you kept the stuff for DH and DC? thats what Boden do best. My order was dispatched today but Im not holding my breath. God a feeling it will be put with the must get around to sending back pile. Its a shame they didnt do the pj bottoms this Summer as Im still wearing mine from 2 years ago!!

You're spot on kittya - the t-shirts are great for DS1 - I love the quality of cotton they are made from. You could spit through alot of t-shirts from other places. It also means they will last for hand-me-downs for DS2.
DH is a bit about Boden stuff so he may not keep his stuff and I ordered 2 sizes for him so that will take the sting out of the cost when I send those back.
To cheer myself up I had to order a pile of stuff for me from the Autumn preview.

I ordered the cashmere cropped cardigan from the preview. I get one every year and find they wash really well Yes the girls things are usually great, again, the quality can be hit and miss but in the sale its not so bad. The girls jackets this year went down very well and the quality was fab. Ordered three different types so I reckon that covers them!! I just found the Summer stuff, on the whole, quite middle aged.

I also ordered the pebble spot dress in pale blue but didn't like it, too oldfashioned in a non-ironic way. I am somewhere between an hourglass and a pear and found the must have shift in solid blue here too baggy on the stomach, as well. I quite like the leaf tunic, about which I am undecided. I quite like the pattern but it seems a bit warm for summer and the wash instructions sound a bit demanding!

In addition, I ordered this. It came with the beading round the neck hanging off, so it is going back. It also seemed rather warm for a summer cardigan and a bit shapeless round my middle.

I thought www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Accessories/Bags/AM122/Womens-Patent-Stripe-Tote.htmlthis bag in the navy stripe arrived very shapeless, and the patent leather was all crumpled. It looked like a reject from a charity shop. I was similarly unimpressed by the navy/multicolour carnaby wallet.

So that is everything going back except the leaf tunic, which is a maybe.

The only thing i like is the leaf tunic.i got it in the green colourway.All the other thins are going back [maybe i will order the brown leaf tunic as is back in stock!].
