oops seem to have spent £183 but that is a coat (ruffle coat which i have been eyeing up for months) 3 dresses and a top im just getting them to try them on you understand

Have got some T-shirts for my boys and a top for me (that I almost bought at full price on Monday )

I just checked with dh to see just how broke we are, not that I don't know already, and he confirmed yes, very broke...so said would not order anything...then did. Am terrible person. Will now have to hide it when it arrives.

We are going away at Christmas so have ordered a few swim bits for dcs and a dress for me, plus a pair of shorts . If they don't fit have assured dh they go back and we get a refund . He's looking all twitchy and won't relax till the laptop's closed, LOL.

Rang Boden last week and the very nice customer services lady told me the sale would start early on Friday morning!!! Just by pure chance last night did i discover the sale had started at 4pm yesterday!!!!!! Went online immediately and made a few good purchases, silver snakeskin belt, chalk flare chinos and fuschia handbag, all with good reductions. Weirdly I was looking for the colourblock dress in hibiscus, which definitely wasn't there last night (or was it the 3rd glass of wine??), but when I went back online early this morning (no wine!)the dress was for sale - and in my size, yah! Lots of things gone very quickly though. I had several things on my wish list and nearly all gone by 11pm last night!

There will be lots of returns though so worth keeping an eye on the website. I ordered 2 sizes of shorts and will be returning one. I think lots of people do this.

What's the sizing like at Boden? Have bought 12s and am normally a 12 in Next, Gap or Monsoon.... anyone know if it's generous or stingy?

I think Boden sizing is generous but that is also true of the other three shops you mentioned so hopefully should be just right for you

Definitely worth keeping an eye on the website in a couple of weeks time. As FranSanDisco says, loads of people order two sizes of things and return. You also get people like me who buy far to much in the panic of the sale environment so end up returning a great big parcel!

I got several bargains a couple of weeks after the winter sale started as they had also made further reductions too.

I had a couple of cardigans very late on in the sale last winter, by that point they were reduced from about £50 down to about £18. Also, by that time there were free p&p codes doing the rounds again and they worked even though the items were reduced.

Ineedmorechocolate- I find the sizing very generous- I am normally a 12 in tops, but in Boden I definitely only need a 10 (and I am 34 dd norkage)

Children's however I find the other way, if anything, dd is 6 but some age 6 stuff is way too tight/short (and she is an average 6)

Made two orders yesterday and only one has been sent.
Not good news I think as it's the later one with the afterthoughts on it's way and not the one with all the dresses I've been eyeing up for ages
