I would say a simple dress that you just slip on would be a better option tbh-probably less mucking about than the "saress".

I notice that they don´t show a back view of the larger lady!

Shiny I think you'd have to be careful to choose fabric that dried out quickly (probably one of the advantages of the cheap material they have used I would guess).

If the saress is drooping at the back it's probably because there is too much distance between the loops - you could try doing a fold/tuck halfway between the loops and clipping it/stitching in place.

Hi
Just bought 2 sarress's for my holiday,i saw a few last year when i was on a cruise and i was very impressed with them.I think they are much better than a sarong and the ajustable straps are great, i don't think the material looks cheap it doesn't crease and is very flattering to an average middle age figure like mine i also think the low back looks great and is part of the appeal of the dress the colours are great too. I bought direct from the supplier's and it was so easy they have an offer on at the moment 'buy 2 get one free' so i think they are excellent value for money.

I bought one a couple of years ago and its seen me through about 3 beach holidays. I like it because its much easier to slip than a dress on when you nip off to the bar and cafe. It doesn't crease and takes up no more space than a small scarf in your bag. The fabric is a bit weird, but I think it needs to be like that to stretch and move, be non-crease and dry very fast.

uuum barclaycard you sound like a blatent advertiser imo. How on earth did you find this thread from summer 2010 otherwise??

trice · 10/01/2011 11:36

saress is an ugly cheap ill fitting sarong sustitute. Buy a beautiful sarong and learn to it. A sarong pin is a good buy too.

I've got a Saress and think it's great, so easy to put on and great to just chuck in the case before you go away, and it doesn't crease. I love it and at the moment they have an offer on buy two and get the black and white one free. I definately recommend it. www.saress.com

I found this site by word of mouth i am not an avertiser just someone who found the dress effective and wanted to share my thoughts.

shirl61 · 17/01/2011 13:35

my daughter bought me one as a present and I've taken it with me on every holiday, it's great for the beach, i'd definately recommend it. Got myself another one!

I wear mine in winter over my ski gear such is the power of the saress.

BellsandWhistles · 26/01/2011 21:03

I got married in mine. Veil livened it up a treat.

BALD · 26/01/2011 21:15

I used mine to lotus my placenta; the sieving effect of the fabric is best not mentioned, though

cruelladepoppins · 26/01/2011 21:19

Mine is so flattering I don't bother wearng anything underneath. In fact I wear it to work twice a week. Also to MIL for afternoon tea.

Bought my girlfriend this saress directly from their site as a treat for our holiday to Crete last month and she loved it, It covered all she was still conscious about since the birth of our child last year & she found it great for feeding.

She didn't find it a cheap product at all, Saress have got loads of offers on at the moment too so you can grab a bargain!

She has always raved about this site and i was curious about what you girls talk about. Thought i would add some male positive content to this thread despite its age. Please girls don't be put off by me including my review, im just giving a male perspective.

Ben
