What colour nail varnish is best for toes?

I need some inspiration for my toes.

Currently wearing a very bright orange but I don't really like it. It looks strange against my fake tan iyswim!

I usually have varying shades of red on but am fed up of that colour.

I need a nice colour for my holidays (beach type).

What colour is fashionable at present?

A bright coral pink. I love it. But I'm a red head, so may not be everyone's cup of tea.

ive got the weird little toenail thing too and minxing it makes it look almost normal...!

id not have it on my fingers just because it needs a very very professional finish to look good and your fingers would be under more intense scrutiny! plus it looks a bit more demure having leopard print toes than fingers for some reason! thats just me though.

The throwback toenail has been putting me off having it done. I thought they'd laugh me out of the salon and I'd have to leave in shame. (I have to use artistic licence when I paint my nails and paint one in)

When I paint my nails I have to paint a bit of the area around the little toenail otherwise it would be invisible to the human eye.

I have it too. I am quite fond of my toes really, but my dear friend has given me the nickname 'stumps' as apparently my toes are freakishly short. So, who wants to wade in on this one. My second toe is shorter than my big toe, which apparently makes me odd. To me though, a second toe which is bigger than the big toe is freakish. Discuss.

My little toenails are tiny and at 90 degrees to the rest of toes. Nice

I've got weird little toenails too - sort of sideways on and wedge-shaped with massive thick cuticles, jesus what a turn off.

Norbert, tell your DP that a random sample of mners would seem to suggest that us weird-toenailed freaks are actually in the majority. Do you think the toenails in shoe adverts are airbrushed in?

I fell over once and twisted my foot and had to have it examined at hospital and the doctor there was laughing at my made up painted on toe nail

Mine are painted a shimmery pink/red. Virgin Vie sunset strip. Nude colours just don't look right on my feet.

Hurely - second toes should absolutely be shorter than the big toe - longer ones are freakish!!

However, I have a fushia colour, and like very bright colours on my toes, as even pale skins like moi can get away with it.

I noticed No 7 had a new shade - Foxglove, quite bright pinky purple. May have to go and get it myself...

I love painting my toe-nails, I am really vain about it for some strange reason and do it at least once every week with a different colour

Also, my second toes are significantly longer than my big toe, and I have broken/dislocated them several times by stubbing them. In fact, my left second toe now dislocates itself on occasion and I have to snap it back, much to the horror of anyone around.

I also have a gap between the base of my big toe and the base of my second toe, sort of bows out, a friend once said to me it looks a bit like i have a toe missing there (which would, therefore mean I should have six toes? . Anyway, seeing as this is 'Confessions of Weird Toe Owners' you have mine.
