Isn't it lovely? I'm wondering what it is really like. Any volunteers?

I was going to say it would look lush with chunky silver accessories but now im thinking of something contrasting, like corally red?

After another thread got me thinking, it says it's 100% silk. Is that a recipe for disaster stain-wise?

I looked at the dress yesterday. It is actually mainly jersey; just the swathe at the front is silk, and that was very crushed and sort of ... washed looking, if that makes sense. It was a great disappointment.

Hope I just saw a rogue version duende!

what a disappointment! just like mumsnut has said - it is mainly jersey, eve though it says 100% silk on the website. the colour is darker than I imagined - I thought it was greyish blue, it is dark navy. Looks very serious. Mine has no label with care instructions or fabric description - is this normal for phase eight clothes?
I am size 8 - ordered it in XS and it still looks too loose. If it was £30, I would keep it, as it was £95, it's going back tomorrow

Oh shame, sounds like a bum deal after all. Specially for £95. Back to the drawing board for me.

Oooh that dress is nice....would it make you look like a parcel shelf if you have big norks though?

BingumyAndThob · 13/06/2010 22:29
