What sort of thing should i go for?

never mind elgoo - all size 10's are hungry all the time.

maktaitai · 29/05/2010 21:39

elgoo, I would go with the Nancy Mac style dress, that's gorgeous. Maybe with raspberry patent heels (fantasy dressing as I really can't wear heels at all)? And I would invest in packs and packs of tissue paper, which IMO really does help reduce the creasing.

And then bung it at a dry cleaner's for a press when you're there? Still cheaper than buying a new dress?

ooh, i'm liking the idea of the raspberry patents. i have purple patents, any good? although i haven't worn them and really should return them and get something i'll wear.

Vivienne Westwood Anglomania on My.wardrobe.com - is v slinky material so doesnt crease - could cram one of those dresses and a pair of spanx in a rucksack and be able to pull them straight out and put on with a pair of heels and sashay out immediately.

Elgoogreven · 29/05/2010 21:54

well i'm sure i would, but i can't afford a vivienne westewood dress. i can't even afford to be in paris or afford the ticket to the party.
i'm only there because it's getting paid for.

what about this with purple patent heels?

cornsilkcottagecheese · 29/05/2010 22:04

oooh yes!

maktaitai · 29/05/2010 22:32

Oasis dress lovely, but I still like the Nancy Mac one you said you already had better and it would be great with purple patents as well. IMO save the £45 to have breakfast in Paris or something?

Elgoogreven · 29/05/2010 23:03

you're probably right maktaitai, but i'm enjoying window shopping.

i like this, but might look naked from behind
