I think finally, at age 40 I have finally got the holy grail...A CAPSULE WARDROBE

No, I cant believe it either.

Everything goes with everything. I can have funky combinations, go from day to evening, dress up, dress down.

Add accessories, take 'em away. Gok Wan would be sooo proud.

I want to clothes peg it up.

thats what careful copious shopping and ruthless chucking out does for you

cyb · 19/05/2010 19:47

all those FUNKY COMBINATIONS

Arcadie · 19/05/2010 19:49

WOE* are glads?

  • What On earth. It's like WTF but for people who don't swear as much....

And it took me half the thread to work out that Cyb wasn't having some kind of Fight Clubesque conversation with herself!

cyb · 19/05/2010 19:51

New look, not online tho

OP posts:
MayorNaze · 19/05/2010 19:51

i thought combinations meant that old fashioned underwear where you have your vest attached to your pants

but am impressed nonetheless

cyb · 19/05/2010 19:53

she has taken my identity

she wants to BE ME

sorry if you were confused!

Glads=gladiator sandals

Arcadie · 19/05/2010 19:54

Arcadie · 19/05/2010 19:54

traceybath · 19/05/2010 19:59

cyb · 19/05/2010 20:02

OP posts:
Coderooo · 19/05/2010 20:07

cyb · 19/05/2010 20:12

Cyb- I am in awe of you, and and and, Polly Vernon put that M&S dress in her style column this week.

I have those new look grey chinos that I rock with gold ballet flats and a breton top. Could I be a mini you??

I am diggin on your funky combos.

Coderooo · 19/05/2010 20:17

thatsnotmymonkey · 19/05/2010 20:19

I know, I am over excited!

cyb · 19/05/2010 20:19

you may be a mini me

OP posts:
pointydog · 19/05/2010 20:24

I don't like navy one bit and I don't like the nautical look much.

I'm out.

thatsnotmymonkey · 19/05/2010 20:24

hurrah!

traceybath · 19/05/2010 20:26

Have ordered the m&s dress - so knowing m&s it'll arrive after I go on holiday.

I wonder how many things that we link to get bought by millions of other mn'ers.

janeite · 19/05/2010 20:28

God I f'in hate Polly Vernon. I don't want anything that she likes.

Otherwise - well done Cyb!

thatsnotmymonkey · 19/05/2010 20:30

I did have my eye on that dress already and it had NOTHING to do with the fact that cyb has it.

NOTHING!

cyb · 19/05/2010 20:34

who said anyhting about nautical?

there is not a gilt button ANYWHERE on my personage

navy does not =ships captain in my BIG BOOK OF fashion

OP posts:
Coderooo · 19/05/2010 20:35

the skirt bit was nice

Hassled · 19/05/2010 20:39

I'm beyond jealous. My wardrobe is a fucking mess. I'm way too old for half the stuff, and way too young for the other half. I have some godawful skirts and some gopping dresses - it all has to go.
