oh, awesome, Zembo. They are very comfy, I must say.

I wore them yesterday, (boots & khakis) with a sand linen tee from Zara and a denim jacket.

Also, my take on the Balmain look is with leather biker, black ankle boots and this in the brown

I wear orange (successfully, I think) and we are similar colouring, no?

have the bikers got rips in then? Hard to tell on the website. I need to get another pair of the plainer ones - was a bit sick and stressed and have lost a bit of weight and need to size down ... just a matter of getting to a store, really.

Tulpe have not seen you in a long time but often think of you - hello! hope all is well with you

Zembo · 02/05/2010 06:25

LTEC I'd say I'm the same colouring as you when you have a tan We probably suit similar colours, I like most of the stuff you link to anyway! - incl the UO top

Yes my RI bikers have a few rips in ready for my cubs to get their paws on, Will look for the plain ones for comparison (if I can find them - seem to be almost sold out online) - in my experience if I have doubts about something at the beginning (could extrapolate this to most areas of life) the doubts are just magnified with time. Trying to be wise

Cake you must have a LOT of clothes in your wardrobe that are hanging off you now following all this weight loss?? Bet you look great though.

MamaG · 02/05/2010 06:30

blog looks GOOD
I don't usually do blogs either

LetThemEatCake · 02/05/2010 08:40

thanks MamaG

not really Zembo - all of the weight I had to lose was just baby weight from 7-mth-old dc3. So most of my old clothes are fine, am only a few kilos under my pre-preg weight. All of my Autumn/ Winter stuff was bought with extra weight and non-stop bfing in mind, so my spring/ summer stuff is pretty much fine for how I look now.

That's not to say that I wouldn't like it to be all hanging off me though!!!

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 09:29

I wore mine yesterday with some tan clogs, plain v-neck t-shirt, sand long vest and a grey long line cardigan
Am thinking now re the orange going well and might wear with some orange wedges when warmer.
They are suprisingly comfortable even though they are skinnies, and they have boosted my confidence
I love those new look boots and at £20 are a bargain, however am a size 4 so feel unlikely to be happening

Have fitted in my jeans today (am 5 weeks post delivery DC3 so am v happy.
Top half is however out of control, the affects of breast feeding, tops are proving very difficult to buy at the moment as am feeling slightly Dolly Parton esque.
Any suggestions?

5 weeks!!! congrats DR, that's an amazing feeling.

can't help on the top front sorry love. My boobs remain B cup even when bfing.

I didn't realise it was numero 3 for you! I have 3 too - dd1, ds2 and ds3. How about you?

traceybath · 03/05/2010 09:53

Darrell - well done on getting into jeans so quickly!

I found the weights come off much quicker after dc3.

I too have the enormous bf boobs - well currently a 32dd but at 5ft and fairly slim they do look disporportionately big.

However at 5wks post birth they were more like an f cup so have settled down.

Tops wise - I just did and do lots of vests/tanks/breton tops. I've now given up on bf bras as they just made me look so mumsy with a shelf mono-boob so back in balcony styles which I just pull down.

I too love ltec's blog - lol how we're all going to be checking for mentions.

DarrellRivers · 03/05/2010 10:29

LTEC, I have just purchased a red Cambridge satchel and got my initials embossed on it.
I am claiming it is a nappy bag for the baby (so used some pressie money from an auntie) but obviously it is for me.
It is gorgeous
I have been copying Alexa loads in my head.
I love her brown hair and her very 'relaxed' style

A good top with khaki trews is also in River Island (bargainous at 9.99)

It is a racer-back vest in a peachy-orange with white stripes...looks fab with khaki and I wear mine with a browny-khaki long cardi at the moment

AnyFucker · 03/05/2010 17:45

oops, vest has black stripes, not white...just checked in my wardrobe

Zembo · 03/05/2010 19:29

Back again Cake this time to report that New Look emailed to say the boots are now out of stock , oh well will just have to look for something else...

AnyFucker · 03/05/2010 19:48

DarrellRivers · 04/05/2010 13:28
