Apple yes, pear no (but wouldn't put it on a girl either), hoodie maybe.

diddl · 21/04/2010 11:16

Hoodie yes.
Apple maybe depending on age (it´s v. white!)

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 21/04/2010 11:18

no.

They are clearly 'girls clothes'

I know it shouldn't be like this blah blah yakkity schmakkity long rant but it is and they'd get the piss ripped out of them.

diddl · 21/04/2010 11:21

Purple is the fashion for boys at the moment isn´t it?

nappyaddict · 21/04/2010 11:25

Actually I don't like the hoody just noticed it has a picture of a dog on it. Too cutesy!

What is it about the apple tshirt that you think makes it look obviously girly?

Apple - yes but it is v white and won't stay that way on my DS for very long
Pear - not sure though he looks great in pink
Hoodie - definitely

DS is 4 and looks fantastic in bright colours

feetheart · 21/04/2010 11:26

Poo, hadn't noticed the dog, just liked the colours and stripes

princessmel · 21/04/2010 11:33

nope

nappyaddict · 21/04/2010 12:40

Hmmm I'm dithering over the pear one.

I asked my 10-yr-old DS - he says no to everything. He's not averse to colour but he thinks they're all too "girly". He says he might wear the apple one "if it was the last thing on earth". So not much of a ringing endorsement then. I would've put him in the apple one when he was younger!

whatname · 21/04/2010 20:20

probably not
now I have actually seen the Boden website, oh dear!!

Marne · 21/04/2010 20:21

no no no!

onebadbaby · 21/04/2010 20:21

No no no...

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 21/04/2010 20:27

I just showed it to my ten year old. (I switched it to the top only, without the girl inside it. )

And he gave me face and said "Mum. I'm not a girl."

That's me told then.

And you, I think.

specialmagiclady · 21/04/2010 20:31

Would put boys in any of them for the pattern and colour but not the cut of the T-shirts. Those sleeves are a girly length, and so is the body.

I put my little boy in pink quite a lot and people often think he's a girl (long hair, too, actually) but I take it as a compliment because he's sooooo purdy!

Oh I love the apple one! I'd put DS in it, but it is girly. Not toooo girly though.

SixtyFootDoll · 21/04/2010 20:52

None of them too feminine looking

defineme · 21/04/2010 20:52

Yes I would and I also put my dd in boy's clothes. It's what suits and what you like (think purple is a bit yuk, but I don't like pale purple much). Love the apple.

Trendy young adult men wear sleeves cut like that. Would you really notice the 'cut' of a young boy's clothes anyway?

dolphin13 · 21/04/2010 20:58

No far to girlie.

Wallace · 21/04/2010 21:06

The apple link takes me to the pear one??

Wallace · 21/04/2010 21:07

Found it

castille · 21/04/2010 21:10

Me neither

3yo DS was mistaken for a girl far too often as it is - he had gorgeous curls until yesterday) without me putting him in girly clothes (which all those are IMO)

serinBrightside · 21/04/2010 21:11

If the boy himself asked for it then fine, otherwise, no, I wouldn't particularly choose it for him.
