MerlinsBeard · 18/04/2010 14:56

They are not flattering. They look shit. whatever age/size/height you are/

noddyholder · 18/04/2010 14:59

Why all the vitriol? Its fashion Hi cyb they do look good esp with slim dresses

wastwinsetandpearls · 18/04/2010 14:59

Quite frankly Wallis is old enough to know better.

cyb · 18/04/2010 15:00

hi nodders how does the dress go over them then?

xkaylax · 18/04/2010 15:01

Who would actually buy them?

xkaylax · 18/04/2010 15:01

noddyholder · 18/04/2010 15:03

well you can get slim ones and the dress is a kind of indian tunic shape but with a waist.I have a lovely white pair cotton which I wore all last summer with a black cotton fitted sleeveless top.

wastwinsetandpearls · 18/04/2010 15:06

Those don't look like the ones from Wallis though noddy. Even a fat fusty old mare like me woudl consider the ones you linked to.

SixtyFootDoll · 18/04/2010 15:06

I like those trousers.

noddyholder · 18/04/2010 15:08

They are fairly fitted and rolled up.

noddyholder · 18/04/2010 15:13

come on you must like these

cyb · 18/04/2010 15:15

nodders I ahve a pair veh similar to those grey ones form Matalan of all places from last year when PEG trousers were a flash in the pan! I like 'em

cyb · 18/04/2010 15:16

actually looking back at the Wallis zebra ones, they would be better cropped

but I DO love anyhting animal print

noddyholder · 18/04/2010 15:18

I think they make most people look slim its all in teh cut A cheap jersey pair from primark will make anyone look horrendous.i have a pair of cropped trousers peg front only worn once but might dig those out!

cyb · 18/04/2010 15:19

yeah do, I dont see much diffrence tbh

BelleDameSansMerci · 18/04/2010 15:22

Didn't wear 'em last time; won't be wearing 'em this time... I do think they look great on tall, slim types. I'm short and curvey!

Magaly · 18/04/2010 15:22

they'd look crap on me, i'd look like a genetically engineer fat two legged zebra. BUT imagine them on one of those five foot ten 8 stone 18 year olds that seem to be everywhere these days. with a bright blazer style jacket and pumps. big hair. Revolting and worst of 80s to us. So cool it hurts to an 18 year old.

I don't think young girls shop in wallis though.

MooMinCow · 18/04/2010 15:24

they don't.... target market is supposed to be 'stylish 30+ woman'

Still think they look shit.....

OP posts:
noddyholder · 18/04/2010 15:31

this would look good with harem trousers

Alouiseg · 18/04/2010 15:32

It must be HAMMERTIME

IngridFletcher · 18/04/2010 15:44

I don't get the dresses with the shitcatchers harem trews because does the dress not cover up with the focal point of them which is the drapery?

noddyholder · 18/04/2010 16:04

The slim ones are more fitted just a bit of drape.

noddyholder · 18/04/2010 16:11

like this but not with the indian detail more modern
