None of those outfirts are nice, and I am laughing at 'em.

Alouiseg · 08/04/2010 20:29

Nasty mares!

I'm laughing at them......loudly.

Alouiseg · 08/04/2010 20:30

I can actually smell the polyester.

GetOrfMoiLand · 08/04/2010 20:31

Nighby - just had another look, seriously who do you think looked OK out of that shower?

There is a girl at the bottom wearing a rust dress which is ok, but even so her accessories are vile and it is inappropriate clothes for a spring day.

When has it been OK to wear evening dress at a race meeting, pray (realise must sound like Nancy Mitford's mother, but still).

nighbynight · 08/04/2010 20:34

Its ok because its the dress code for that day.

I dont want to discuss individual people, in case any of them read this.

GetOrfMoiLand · 08/04/2010 20:37

I don't think the dress code is Vile Cricket Knockoffs.

Alouiseg · 08/04/2010 20:40

..........or Beth Ditto impersonators.

Piffle · 08/04/2010 20:41

Matalan will be dying at this sort of publicity
LOL

cocolepew · 08/04/2010 20:46

They need to read this.

geordieminx · 08/04/2010 21:16

My 2 best friends work for Matalan - one as head of merchandising in Liverpool.... have not spoken to her about this... yet

birdsandblossoms · 09/04/2010 12:21

whoever said 80s fashion was minging the first time around was so right why to we have to endure it again?

justallovertheplace · 09/04/2010 17:05

Oh glee there's more!
Could Coleen have pulled her hair any tighter?

OP posts:
Alouiseg · 09/04/2010 17:25

Eeewww! Minging! Sheree Murphy looks the best of a bad bunch but not sure about open toes and no jacket for racing..........but then i guess they don't give a stuff about the races.

HellBent · 09/04/2010 17:43

Oh dear, are there any nice ones at all? Surely they have chosen these for effect?

BigBadMummy · 09/04/2010 17:45

Hysterical.

Chav-tastic.

deaddei · 09/04/2010 18:37

Beth Ditto impersonators- great observation.
Not exactly Grace Kelly are they- as one DM reader has commented "It's Jeremy Kyle's Day Out"

Alouiseg · 09/04/2010 18:46

The hair dye is so shocking, either canary yellow, morticia adams black or ginger spice before she had half a clue.

cuddlysoutheastastra · 09/04/2010 18:47

i'm finding all this pointing and laughing a bit wearing now. it's boring.

part of me thinks at least they are out and not stuck in the house like i am

though i doubt many of them appreciate the joys of the national

BitOfFun · 09/04/2010 18:51

I hate how bloody snobby and sneering the Mail are. At least they are cracking a smile and out having some fun- not peering over their lorgnettes and crunching their pearls.

BitOfFun · 09/04/2010 18:53

And there are lots of stylish and well-dressed women there btw- but the Mail doesn't want to photograph them. Can't think why

LadyBlaBlah · 09/04/2010 18:53

Looks like print is in

Erm, hurray

Alouiseg · 09/04/2010 18:55

This is "style and beauty" we are allowed to be snobby and sneery.

Especially as nobody can see us hunched over our pc/mac's still in our gym kit!

BitOfFun · 09/04/2010 19:04

Fairy Nuff

farmerjones · 09/04/2010 19:05

its the faces that upset me. the dresses could look good, but the faces.... so hard, all of them

GetOrfMoiLand · 09/04/2010 19:07

Lol Alouise.

Yes. I am sat here judging Colleen's clothes which probably cost more than my car, and I judge whilst wearing a top from Sainsburys, my daughters jeans and my hair all bedraggled and in need of cutting.
