If this was anywhere else but in the Mail I would be laughing, but I can't help but feel uncomfortable with the Mail's anti-working class and misogynistic attitudes coming together every year for this. When I go racing there seems to be an awful lot of green tweed with a sort of yellow stripe running through it. The preferred footwear is gumboots rather than Louboutins and every other person has a dog or 5 by their sides.

That is obviously at Point to Point but even when we go to Ascot or Newmarket it's never that grim!

And yes, I have got a sense of humour bypass where things like this are concerned. As one of the comments said, these girls probably posed merrily with no idea that the paper was going to make a national laughing stock of them. Nice.
