could i wear atrouser suit at my wedding

getting married in a few weeks, last minute thing,
cant affors a big wedding especially as we are going on hols the same day..
i dont like dresses as my calves are huge, and also im a size 16 so dresses do me no justice...
would it be wrong to wear a trouser suit?
its going to be a very small wedding with me, do and 3dcs then pils.

mil is hassling me to buy a dress as she is the traditional type, but im not overely keen

One of my closest friends wore a trouser suit to her wedding and she looked absolutely beautiful, one of the nicest brides' outfits I have seen. Her suit was a very soft silvery/pearly grey material, I have a suspicion though that it was very expensive!!!

I think a trouser suit can look fab, just like Alouiseg said - Bianca Jagger!

My friend got married in a cream trouser suit and it looked stunning - she had a fitted cream courset type top under the jacket.

i wore a cream tuxedo suit with flared trousers, a backless waistcoat and matching jacket.

it was armani though so not cheap- maybe £500.00 ish.

coast have got a nice suithere and it would look lovely with a pale coloured floaty camisole underneath and nude heels. nice flower and you're off.

My sister wore a fantastic cream linen trouser suit on her wedding day with killer high heels and a sparkly top underneath, it wasn't that cheap, think it was Ronit Zilka, she looked fantastic..

well after searching around for ages and not being able to find anything suitable my mil offered to buy me a dress.... i couldnt refuse

and some underwear that pulls you in.....

Em - you could look for gold or silver heels instead, and maybe soft ballet pumps if you'll be on your feet all day and might want to change.

Spanx is great for control undies. You might need a long pair as the frock is quite slinky and you don't want seams to show.

Lovely If you want sexier control undies, try What Katy Did - I'm planning to get something from there to go under my retro frock, since the thought of Spanx is an instant passion killer
