Are Birkenstocks worth the money?

Last year I got a couple of pairs of toe-post flat sandals from Clarks but they were SO comfy and quite trendy and I pretty much wore them every day during the summer months so they are looking a bit tatty now.

Have just been searching and all I can find that is similar is Birkenstocks but they are £40 a pair which is a bit more than I usually pay (my Clarks ones came from a discount store!) but I absolutely loved them and want something similar.

Have been looking at the other styles they have aswell and quite like them - come and help me justify spending money on them

I looooove Birkies but only the 2-strap ones

I just replace them with the same style when they give up the ghost after 2-3 years

I stick with the plain brown Arizonas

I have the Madrids in golden brown. They go with skirts, trousers and casual dresses in summer and are really comfortable.
