My wardrobe is sooo boring, black, white, various shades of grey and of course jeans. Inspired by various links saw this and have just purchased. What do you think? Know it will seem quite boring for some of you style icon's on here but as a first step forward away from drabness good purchase or not? Think that's lovely TDWP but not at least for me an everyday wear purchase. Do you wear Prada or just an angel with an ambitious streak?

Love the way that the Red Herring one says that it is 100% leather, with a phone pouch - oops!

iamreallysilly · 28/02/2010 18:04

What about joe browns? never actually bought anything from there, others will maybe advise on quality but they def look cute/funky and bright but also quite wearable, or fat face

CharlotteYorkGoldenblatt · 28/02/2010 22:43

i think it's gorgeous - so colourful!

SpeedyGonzalez · 28/02/2010 22:45

I love the first one (though I think I'd look like greasy roast beef dressed as a spring salad in it). Can't bear the flowery one, it's rank.

pixiemamma · 01/03/2010 13:29

I agree with the red herring, Yumi dresses were nasty & reminded me of shapeless frumpy dresses circa 1990

EggyAllenPoe · 01/03/2010 19:20

isn't the flowery dress in that material that goes all bobbly at the first wash?

i think that length is definitely meant to be worn with leggings though (or is that my age talking?)

i like the blue Red herring one.

and of course, you're only going to get honest opinions on this forum!

I know what you mean re Boden/White stuff ,although I do buy from them¬!
Try Uttam for dresses if you like Yumi.I think they are the same company,or sister companies.
I also buy dresses from
Warehouse
Oasis
Topshop
Noa Noa
Great Plains.

brimfull · 01/03/2010 19:30

I like both

janeite · 01/03/2010 19:34

Warehouse dresses are good - and they have brilliant sales.

anneke1 · 01/03/2010 22:15

Thanks for all your input will try on arrival and let you know, think I will either love or hate. Just sent back a white stuff denim skirt today within my comfort zone but hideous fit ordered size 10 usually 12 and still way to baggy and unflattering. Just have no concept of "style" anymore as my six yr old DD calls it.

Nice dress if you are aged about 10

Monadami · 02/03/2010 02:31

I don't like the print, looks like it should be used for kidswear.

ASOS have some gorgeous items and very affordable, do you ever shop there?
