Maybe for a ball at the Uni?? I still can't believe it was reduced to £20!

Oh the shock!

I'm 5 foot 2 with brown hair if this helps??

you will need serious heels

love;y though

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 19/02/2010 23:03

I'll take it up

wools · 20/02/2010 08:59

Wow, that's a beautiful dress.

EssenceOfJack · 20/02/2010 09:05

£20 That's gorgeous!

Agree that you will need major heelage

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 20/02/2010 11:41

I'll take it up, it's a size 10 so it shrinks to fit if I pull the ribbon, I'd look like a stick and fall over if I wore stilts.

As long as you are slim it will be gorgeous, however the slightest bit of, ehem, back fat and this dress turns into something of a horror with all that strained lacing.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 20/02/2010 18:05

Ah yes, I had thought about that. I may stick some fabric in there, just incase. I tried it on last night and it looked OK but you never see yourself the same way as others see you.

are you all MAD

that is uterly vile!!

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 20/02/2010 18:07
Hmm

AnnOdyne · 20/02/2010 18:08

i am thinking that any one bought this polyester monstrosity!

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 20/02/2010 18:08

The colour is gorgeous.

My going away dress was a similar colour. Wish I still had it.

janeite · 20/02/2010 18:11

Sorry Belle, I don't like that at all but if you do, then that's great and well done for finding a bargain that's made you happy!

kissmummy · 20/02/2010 18:14

my initial reaction was wow! it's gorgeous. only way it could look bad in my opinion is if the material is obviously cheapie. but at an original price of almost £200, surely not?
i think it's amazing.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 20/02/2010 18:16

Thankyou ladies The material doesn't look cheap, it looks like chifon.

oh hang on, if you are at Uni, presumably you are a little slip of a young thing? I can see that looking just great on you (wouldn't on me) and it is a very good price. And I think a good colour.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 20/02/2010 18:24

I'm a size 8-10 A bit stick like. I like it!!

OP posts:
Spoof · 20/02/2010 18:24

Colour is nice, but I'm with annodyne.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 20/02/2010 18:40

So, should I sell it on Ebay for the £59.99 buy it now that they are selling for and make a profit?? I do like it, I don't want to look stupid though.

OP posts:
Flightattendant · 20/02/2010 18:44

I really like it APART from the weirdy ribbony bit. The draping at the back is super, and the front looks great - not strange or anything. Colour is fab.

Ribbons are the only thing that spoils it. Can you take them out and sew it up?

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 20/02/2010 18:49

I can pannel it, I need to take it up anyway so there will be fabric spare from the hem.

BelleDameSansMerci · 20/02/2010 18:53

I like it. I assume you're young enough to get away with it. The colour is lovely and would look much better with dark hair than fair (as in the photo). I like it.
