I've gone right off Boden lately. What else might I like?

Jasper Conran at Debenhams, esp for coats/jackets and jeans.

I got some nice bits from Mistral just before Christmas, quite similar to White Stuff.

Millie1 · 19/01/2010 21:15

Mint Velvet looks fantastic - thanks for that link!

PoppityPing · 19/01/2010 22:56

SueW have just ordered from Ness, what a fab site!

SueW · 20/01/2010 00:44

Oh good. I saw their stuff for the first time ever when I went to Chatsworth House at Christmas. In the clothing section of the garden centre actually (which has some lovely clothing/gloves/hats/bags, etc)

I really fancied a handbag, a skirt, and a hat but couldn't make up my mind!

onlyjoinedforoffers · 20/01/2010 15:57

just had a glance at the Ness website and it looks great if like me you are the more colourful end of the spectrum

vesela · 20/01/2010 20:12

Mistral's coloured skirts look nice, too. That's where all the coloured skirts have been hiding!

sowhatitsonlysnow · 20/01/2010 20:17

Thanks for this thread. I shall be off to discover my nearest Mistral just as soon as I can.

PoppityPing · 20/01/2010 21:36

Well, the Ness stuff is Lovely.

I'm keeping all of it. The fabric is really nice and silky/stretchy and the colours are great.

The coat is extra fab, I've always wanted a duffle coat

magbags · 21/01/2010 22:29

Try www.toast.co.uk

SueW · 22/01/2010 10:25

PoppityPing I'm glad you like it.

Sadly I need to lose a few pounds to get into their clothes, otherwise I'd have bought quite a lot when I saw it.

I didn't see the duffle you'd bought as the link didn't work. That's gorgeous.

Pinkmarshmallow · 22/01/2010 16:15

Love the look of mistral, thank you, whoever posted its link!

MamaGoblin · 22/01/2010 23:20

Mistral is basically cheaper Boden, as far as I can see! Minus the uglier 60's prints. I'm wearing a Mistral short cord skirt at the moment - sort of Amy Butler-style floral in olive, teals, and greens - goes with everything!

I want this dress.

Pinkmarshmallow · 23/01/2010 10:59

oooohhhh mamagoblin, I spotted it too and want it!

BikeRunSki · 23/01/2010 12:41

I have bought a few things from Wrap over the years, and have been continualy disappointed - especially at the price!

Jersey tops and Ts - very thin and very short
Trousers - I have had two pairs, and the side seam has come undone within a few wearings.

I'd second MantaRay at Debenhams though.

Celtic Sheepskin mostly do sheepskin things (D'oh!) but a few clothes too.

PoppityPing · 23/01/2010 17:05

Gudrun Sjorden is lovely and colourful. Much 'artier' and less fitted than Boden though.
