was feeling a bit fed up and in need of xmas cheering up this lunchtime so popped into benefit in covent garden - the lovely lady there put some stuff on me and said it looked nice - it did too, altho feeling so grim as I did I could have looked like a clown (tho' don't think i did) - can anyone with any experinece of this stuff advise on whether it works well, is worth th emoney as I may just go back and buy some in order to have something to open on xmas morning (cue violins)

thanks!

she recommended

benetint for lips and cheeks, though I think I need a lipstick too
dr feelgood primer for under foundation and mattifying
some kind-a gorgeous foundation

also the eyes thing (big beautiful eyes) that I already have but the way she put them on looked much nicer so I took copious notes

anyone got any experience, other favourites?
my colouring is pale, green eyes, browny auburn hair...

I haven't used it though I have tested it- I think it's over rated. Packaging too fussy yet a bit down market at the same time. Bit gimicky- and not concinced of quality.
I think the eye shadow palettes in particular are in cheap cardboard packaging.
I have a Dior 5 shadow palette and TBH for £10 more it's much better quality.

Not a fan of the benetint - it is too drying for my lips and I find a cream blush is better for cheeks.

Do like the highbeam though.

I bought loads of their stuff a while back and after a week decided I didn't like it so banished it all to the back of the make up cupboard and went back to my usual products. However, I keep reaching for the Bo-ing and the Lemon-Aid for the eye lids makes me look a lot healthier than I feel. The Smooth lip cream which comes in a kind of lip gloss container with applicator is really, really good.
