Come on Johnny.

Arrived earlier.

Children's stuff good but I'd ordered the pashmina for me in red and thats going back. Too orangey, too big and not enough cashmere in it.

Just waiting for the uptown coat for me although I suspect it won't be any good as normally too long for me.

cornsilklikeshumous · 15/12/2009 16:10

Mine still hasn't arrived and still no dispatch email.

OP posts:
ChrisMissWooWoo · 15/12/2009 16:18

me either cornsilk

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 15/12/2009 16:38

Mine arrived.

The coat and T-shirts for ds's are lovely.

Shoes for me, too big and have already been sent back. They were quite horrid anyway.

traceybath · 15/12/2009 16:41

I think their shoes are huge - which ones had you ordered?

alliscalm · 15/12/2009 17:15

McDreamy - have seen plenty of people in it, a good friend has it in the turquoise, and none look threadbare like mine! But wise to keep the receipt.

MarthaFarquhar · 15/12/2009 17:54

mine arrived
sequinned dress v nice but a little clingy
would need magic knickers
silk jersey party dress v. flattering

can really only justify keeping one, so am keeping the latter

essential shirt was mahoosive and is going back

DD's stuff all lovely but I forgotten how generous the sizing is, and so she will have grow into it.

ChrisMissWooWoo · 15/12/2009 17:56

Grrr why haven't I even had my dispatch email??

cornsilklikeshumous · 15/12/2009 17:59

Exactly chrismiss.
I want my stuff!

OP posts:
silverfrog · 15/12/2009 18:01

me too

I ordered at 8am on the dot, last Friday, and not even a dispatch email yet.

If I get any out of stock items now, i willbe very

cornsilklikeshumous · 15/12/2009 18:06

When do they take the money out of our accounts?

OP posts:
aarghhelp · 15/12/2009 18:08

I ordered mine at 8 on Friday and it turned up yesterday.

All the stuff for DS is great.

I also ordered 2 jackets for me - the velvet one and Drummer one - and they are both too tight across the bust and not fitted/flattering around the waist.

In addition, the zip stuck on the Elegant heeled boots. I phoned Boden after 1/2 hour of trying to get them off and they said I could cut them off and send them back. I am very sorry as they are beautiful boots.

DH hasn't tried his jeans on yet.

SofaKingCloseToChristmas · 15/12/2009 18:25

I phoned them today as was very that some of you had received your orders.

I ordered at 8.30 on Friday morning and apparently it was despatched on Saturday morning. She said I should get it before christmas!

I've also ordered the velvet coat and will be keeping my receipt!

mistletoemulledwinemoodlum · 15/12/2009 18:38

I bought the walk in the park cardigan, which, frankly is bloody fantastic. And cuddly rollneck in pink which is also nice. And I just bought some shoes which I'm not sure about, but we'll see..

cornsilklikeshumous · 15/12/2009 19:54

tell me about the walk in the park cardigan. Will my mum like it? Is it long? Still haven't bought her a present.

OP posts:
mistletoemulledwinemoodlum · 15/12/2009 19:57

Its got a nice high collar. I bought it in dark grey. Its quite flattering. I am large of nork and it is just below the bottom. I think it would look nice with skinny jeans, and I wore it immediately it arrived today with a grey skirt and it was perfect with a vest top underneath..

Its not very adventurous admittedly, but its a classic I think.

cornsilklikeshumous · 15/12/2009 20:08

probably too long for my mum but I want one now!

OP posts:
blithedance · 15/12/2009 20:27

mine came

Amethyst velvet blazer - nice fit but would have preferred the green, undecided and DH is refusing to be consulted.

Orange favourite jumper - horrid colour, too light and bright.
Stripy favourite cardigan, horizontal stripes are too widening for this gel which is a shame. so those 2 going back.

I am rubbish at online shopping

Children's stuff, tracky bottoms, was lovely though.

LaDiDaDi · 15/12/2009 21:36

Mine has arrived but I ordered pretty much everything in two sizes.
Knitwear looks nice, don't like the look of a silk ruffle top that I ordered, don't think the colour will suit me.
Will wait and see what fits me after this baby arrives on the 21st and then send the rest back!

lavenderkate · 15/12/2009 21:39

Yes, today.

MrsSeanBean · 15/12/2009 22:28

Mine arrived today and was (somewhat fittingly, as it turned out) left slung in the wheelie bin.

Ruched waist shift dress - lovely fabric, colour etc - but doesn't suit my pot belly - enhances it to hideous effect. May work if lost 10lbs and / or wore some sort of rib to thigh girdle contraption - (but can I be bothered?)

'Marvellous' merino dress is utterly utterly hideous

ChatterClausIsComingToTown · 16/12/2009 09:01

Oh Mrsseanbean, do return the ruched dress. Just not worth the pain of having to truss yourself up like a xmas turkey in said girldle contracption . I have got the shift shirt dress thing (with satin trim). It is lovely but very unforgiving on tum. I'll wear it with light control pants, I can manage them. Could not face full hardcore suck it all in girdle though.

mejon · 16/12/2009 10:18

Got mine yesterday afternoon. The cardigan is lovely and chunky with fab big leather buttons. I'm rather partial to my cardies! DD's spotty dress/top thing is great too - good quality thick cotton jersey in a deep purple. It'll do as a dress for now and will work as a top next winter and beyond.

lucykate · 16/12/2009 10:45

no sign of my stuff yet, have only just had a sent email this morning and that is just for 1 thing, it says the other item is still to be dispatched. this is the slowest a boden order has ever been, wouldn't mind, but i don't live that far away from the warehouse, was in leicester on saturday, perhaps i should have collected it myself!

nowt exciting though, it's a stripy polo neck for me and a cardi for dh, dc's don't need any clothes, ds's draws are busting at the seams with hand-me-downs, and dd has already been taken shopping recently for new stuff as she'd out grown most of her clothes, and last year, i got her a knitted dress in the sale and was disappointed with it, quality was naff, bobbled really badly after first wash.

lucykate · 16/12/2009 10:46

drawers not draws
