Have a credit note from a bag I took back which is going to expire.
What would you buy with £350 at Mulberry?

TBH Starlight, I know this thread seems weird to you - I understand your feelings are genuine but I think you are a bit off to make someone feel that her choosing a bag is an issue of 'morality'.
For some people £350 is not a big deal. Maybe that isn't fair - I am sure it isn't but that is the way it is.
I would love a Mulberry. I hope I get one for christmas.
I certainly would not value my bag over my children. But I might take a decent offer for DD.....

On the subject of the bags, Mulberry's on-line sale starts on Christmas Eve .... cue red circles on calendars

I certainly don't mean to make anyone feel bad by continuing this thread ... it's lovely to see someone excited about a new bag and to see what other's opinions are on them.

This one, this one!!!

I really love this and, yes, in that colour rather than boring black. You would use it forever to zing up an LBD, jeans and a white shirt, multicoloured tunic.....

If you want a bit more practical, I love my Mabels (well divided up) and my Bayswater (yes a pain to find things).

Happy shopping!!

VicarInaTinselTuTu · 08/12/2009 22:38

grrr everytime i click a link it just takes you to the home page.

i like the bayswater in rouge noir or the east west bayswater.

also love the somerset tote.

i can dream! one day, instead of spending on loads of really cheap handbags im gonna invest in a bag for life!(courtesy of mulberry)

littledawley · 09/12/2009 11:48

The one I linked to is the Daria Clutch in cerise

frakkinaroundthechristmastree · 09/12/2009 12:05

I would get a Ledbury or a Somerset if you can add on. I love my DMs Ledbury.

MillyMollyMoo · 09/12/2009 13:25

I would love a Mulberry bag but have two extra kids instead, am hoping they will buy me one in 20 years time

purplepeony · 09/12/2009 15:29

This just proves what I have always thought- if you can spend £££s on a Mulberry bag then you have more money than sense

Millie1 · 09/12/2009 20:12

Champagnesupernova ... did you make a decision yet? What are you leaning towards?

Others ... is the Somerset (either tote or hobo) in the tan colour a dull and boring bag or is it a good everyday, fling over your shoulder bag?

geordieminx · 09/12/2009 20:53

Mitzy Hobo or Beatrice oversized hobo for me or an abigal east west shopper or a mabel hobo or a somerset tote

Although for the life of me I cannot understand why the daria hobo in "cerise glossy ostrich" is £3500

jemart · 10/12/2009 00:35

Well, if your credit note will last long enough I'd hold out for the sale.

And then buy some shoes and maybe a purse.
