What perfume/scent do you wear? I need a new smell

My birthday is coming up and I would like to ask for a nice perfume.

Ideally i would like one of Penhaligon's, but not sure anyone could afford that for me!

So what else do you recommend?

Cerruti by day and Prada Amber by night!

I also used to wear Light Blue by D&G, it has a conforting talcum powdery smell and I alsways got asked what I was wearing..

I'm a recent convert to Paul Smith Rose.

I bought it for my Mum and then whenever she was around I loved the smell so went out and bught mysel some. I love it.

before that I've worn Jean Paul gautier for years, still like this too.

I wear l'eau d'issey but have been sneaking some of dd's paul smith rose recently as it is beautiful.

I fancy a change. I think I like one of the davidoff ones. I'll be sniffing about perfumery counters in teh run up to christmas.

I AM Aromatics Elyxir by Clinique.

At a push I would wear Paris by YSL as an alternative. I like Pleasures by Estee Lauder as well.

Aromatics Elixir is also one of my favourites.

I've recently discovered a great blog that reviews perfume Signature Scent

Innocent by Thierry Mugler. I always get compliments when wearing this.

Halston Woman is absolutely stunning. I got a free sample of it at work, and every time I wear it someone comments on how delicious it smells. It's a new version of the old Halston perfume, that's wonderful too, but the new one is even better.

Chanel Chance cant be beaten. Just gorgeous, and I Always get asked what it is. x

Also if you like natural not too overpowering stuff L'Occitane Ruban D'Orange and their cherry blossom one are gorgeous -not too pricey and I constantly get asked what Im wearing.
I I love Jo Malone but am I the only one who finds the scent doesnt last the day?

I wear Polo Sport for Women but sadly that has been discontinued. I actually just tend to wear Elemis Frangipani Monoi Melt - officially it is a body oil but it smells divine and lasts on me for ages.

Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile - perfect - buy the Eau de parfum though not the Eau de Toillette. Different notes and lasts so much longer!

BTW there is a lovely gift set at the moment which is 50ml of the eau de parfum and some body products in a gorgeous purple box!

I wear Origins Ginger Intense in the winter (nice and warming slightly sweet ginger smell with a hint of citrus) in the winter and Pampellune (not sure of spelling) in summer which is by Guerlain and grapefruity (smelling of grapefruit is supposed to make you seem 10 yeras younger apparently!

But I went to a pefume factory last Sunday and was tempted to stary from my old favourites and bough Pleasures Delight and Be delicious Green which are both fresh and fruity.

I tend to flit between a few but my favourite daytime scents are The Sanctuary Classic, Hugo Boss Woman and FCUK Her (smells surprisingly divine) and my favourite nighttime scents are DKNY To Go in the summer, and Diesel Fuel For Life in the winter - smells very yummy, very sensual and a bottle lasts ages.

For day I wear Estee Lauder's Pleasures Delight and for night Angel. Although.....recently received a perfume from Avon endorsed by Reese Witherspoon. Initially very sniffy (ha ha) about it but after a waft was sold, its fresh and lovely. Its called In Bloom. Another cheaper one I've admired lately is M and S Infusion. Very unusual but smells quite expensive and only £12 - definitely on my christmas list!

I love Clarins Par Amour Toujours - little girl pink packaging, but a nice simple grapefruit and rose scent that I love for daytime.
