Im so sure I cant be the only one with this style dilemna? Im in my early 30s, with one son, who is nearly 4. The day my son was born I went from being a person who could not leave the house without full goth makeup and who wore corsets and new rock boots to do the supermarket shop to someone who pulls on jeans bought in Tesco and hardly has time to wear eyeliner

For the first 2 years, I used demand nursing and sleep deprivation as the reason for my crappy look. But now I have no excuse!

I clearly cant dress like I used to anymore (unsuitable for playgrounds and keeping up with an energetic 4 year old) but Im sick of looking "blah" and crap and wearing supermarket clothes that I hate.

Are there any websites for inspiration? Shops? Catalogues? I want to dress like the responsible mother that I am (I also work in Education so need a smart look!) but be true to myself, not look in the mirror and cry!

Gothmummy - ebay is really useful. Can source good quality clothes for the price of New Look. I just got a Joseph wool/cashmere crombie overcoat (v.early 80s) for £17! V.pleased
