Anyone else have big feet?

I have size 9 feet which are quite narrow, and it is a pig getting anything nice to fit.
Sometimes Next/Clarks are too small and places like Evans just too wide.
I mail order a lot (Tall Girls/After 8) but they are SO expensive- £79 for ballet pumps plus p & p.
I am tall (6 feet) as well, so trousers are a bugger too. Everyone always says "oh you're so lucky being tall "- but it's so hard finding things which fit.

www.tallgirls.co.uk

I have said before, my sister has size nine, standard width feet and has bought several pairs of shoes and boots from here with no problems. She is also Six foot tall and gets gorgeous clothes from there too, I am sometimes jealous I only have size six feet

Sorry - missed point of post! Sale in tallgirls always seems to be good. They had ballet pumps for a fiver and boots for forty five last time....

Jones Bootmakers go up to a 9 for more and more models now.

I have size 8 feet and it was a bugger looking for shoes.
Ive had some good experiences with the golden boot in maidstone. They didn't have the shoe I liked in my size, but they were very helpful and ordered it for me.

there are some reviews of the shop on google
maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&source=hp&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=the+golden+boot,+maidstone&fb=1&split=1&gl=uk &view=text&latlng=10790962630449851155&dtab=2&ei=cTSNStHZOeWfjAfkk5CADg&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=resu lt&resnum=1

They have an AMAZING selection of shoes on their website as well: thegoldenboot.co.uk

Evans are cheap, very wide (they are EE as standard, but now have an E fitting too) and go up to a size 10.

I am 5'9 and have size 5.5 feet. DH says I look like I have hooves

Obviously I must find my nearest tranny shop, because german shoe manufacturers seem to believe firmly, that women with big feet don't like high heels. How wrong they are

But if anyone wants to do a house swap to Bavaria next year for their summer hols, we have a Gabor factory shop near us
they do normal and wide sizes 42, 43 and 44 (UK 8, 9 and 10)

I'm 5'11" and a nine and have real trouble getting shoes as my feet just seem to be the wrong shape. EVERYTHING I buy seems to rub.

So it's boots (from Next - black, mid-heeled) or trainers or flip flops (from Evans). The occasional pair of sandals but the latest pair feel like they're pulling my little toe nail off. not good. Am currently studying Big Shoe Boutique - thanks for the link!

Trousers from Next or M&S in a long length.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 20/08/2009 16:04

Perhaps some of these these for Autumn...?

Slug - we must have twin feet! I Love the Doc Martenb "fashion" range - wide, trendy and comfy.

toomuchmonthatendofthemoney · 20/08/2009 21:33

i have very narrow size 7 or 8 feet (dep on fit) and have found Hotter shoes and boots (similar to Ecco) very comfy, hardwearing and reasonably attractive.

Prices not too bad either, given they last for ages. I have boots that have been through 2 tough scottish winters without a problem. And winter is from end Sept to early May up here so my cost-per-wear is great!

Would love to find my "local" tranny shop but not seen one in the glen recently....
