Girls are easy to dress (dd sorted..) BUT I struggle with boys/ds..

I like the idea of a suit but not sure if I want it more casual. By that I mean smart long shorts...I also like the idea of sandals (like birkenstocks but no idea if comfy for kids and for boys..?) BUT thats the style im after..

Dh not so ken on sandals, think they are a bit poncy . Thats only coz he chooses to let his trotters sweat in trainers and shoes...dh is not a flip flop/sandals man...

So come on..help me...seen a few things in next & m&s but I would like something that bit more wow iykwim...

TIA X

My DS is only just in 18 months stuff and is 2.6! I know what you mean about Next being ok for girls, although DD doesn't have masses from there as she is even skinnier. She is 7, but would still fit age 4 easily if it wasn't for the length. I prefer H&M and No Added Sugar for them both as they are a slimmer fit. Let us know what you choose.

Sounds like our dd's and ds's are the same builds ! dd is the same with next. She fits into age 4 (she is just 4) but has a few skirts and trousers that are 12-18 months and still fit .

I end up getting rid of stuff coz I get sick of seeing it...! Im sure Next guestimate about sizes for items produced "Hmm...yeah, looks a 3.."

Ooh I saw a lovely stone-coloured linen little boy's suit in Next and wished we had a wedding coming up - it looked very soft and comfortable.

M & S do smart but not overly smart little boy clothes.

DS went to DS2s Christening in a 3 piece suit - tie, collar, waistcoat the works!

muffle..I have seen that suit but not keen..
Have managed to get one sorted today in next.. Navy linen shorts, stripped pink/navy shirt and now just desperatly searching for birkenstocks or similar..think I may have some saved at next x
