What shoes (and outfits) do you wear on a summer evening on holiday?

I need some advice. I seem to have forgotten what shoes to wear abroad on holiday in the sun. I've been in the loft looking at my summer shoes but they were nearly all pre dd purchases and are a bit too Ibiza and bit not enough family holiday.

I have lots of nice clothes - dresses both short and long, a beautiful silk blue jumpsuit, some lovely designer linen trouser and top but no shoes...?

Going to a posh hotel on Saturday and I am a size 7 (if any of that matters?)

Thank you
MM

Doesn't happen to me! lol

Yeah I agree...simple clothes work the best. I find on hols, the last thing you want to do is go out wearing something you would wear in the uk.usually tight fitting and you end up to hot.

I like making the effort though while away..in fact I'm a daily makeup wearer at home so nothing changes on hol .

Thanks very much. trmjs cheers for the list-I'd already packed much the same & bought a sparkly pair of flip flops today. I tend to wear light makeup on holiday & def agree with the understated thing-we're part Italian & it's the look I aim for (apart from the days I can't be bothered!) I'm manicured, pedicured, waxed, threaded & only now have the small issue of dd having pulled a clump of my expensively cut hair out! Not part of the groomed look me thinks!
