Because they are shite!!!!!!

I went today for maternity bras, i was measured after waiting 30 minutes and woman said I was 32D, that didnt fit, then she tried a 34dd, no good, then she decided I might be an E cup but said she didnt have any maternity in an E cup!

So I trotted off to Bravissimo, had never been before and wasnt swayed by useless marketing twaddle on the wall about how women have never felt so good shopping for underwear blah blah.

No measuring, she looked at my boobs, told me I was wearing the wrong size pre-pregnancy (also measured by M&S), she came in with a bra, put it on, told me to bend over and jiggle my boobs and stood up ...HEP PRESTO the most perfect fitted bra Ive ever worn in my life.
Yes it was more expesive, but my boobs look good and Im comfortable.
I will go back after pregnancy and kit myself out with proper fitting bras.

I left being part of the marketing twaddle highly recommended

But it scares me....I mean...its taken me 2 years after ds/dd to finally get my arse in gear and to loose 3 stone...that took 1 yr and its seen my busom go from 38D to a 36C...
Do I really have the confidence to go and be mmeasured and find out really im now a 50FF..?????

it's just a number... actually what tends to happen is that you go up a cup size or three and down on the back size.

hmmm.............

\you'll be a 32 dd I'll bet!

I went to M&S and was (seriously) told was a 38a/b. And they were bloody uncomfortable.

Am now..... (having been to Leia)

34DD (though have been 32D pre current preg). Also love Freya bras. Though have a more recent penchant for Chantelle T-shirt bras.

Oh now Aitch stop making me out to be some sort of shopaholic - you've seen my wardrobe haven't you? It speaks more of Loch Lomond shores discount Hawkshead I think.

I SHALL have that Annie Mcleod experience at new lanark and redeem myself in your eyes, I will

Hi, just read through this thread and was wondering if this bravissimo place is just as good for those of us with not alot.
I am a 34B well I think so, when Ive measured myself this is what is always comes up as. My problem is since breastfeeding two babies my boobs dont feel as full and as I have to have a slightly padded bra my boob doesnt seem to fill it, Ive tried 34A and they feel to tight. I cant wear low cut tops cos when I bend over or somthing people can see my nipples. It supports the bottom of my boobs but I have a big gap at the top.
Im not sure if its the padding causing this problem.
I cannot seem to find a bra with a cup that covers a wider area, its really annoying me now.
I think I would pluck up the courage to go get a proper fitting if I knew it was gonna be worth it
