Am searching for swimwear.

It's hard.

Those JL ones are nice. Is the spotty one more grey than green then? I can't carry off grey.

nutta

Joggler · 19/05/2009 20:50

( we are talking abotu the vodkatini?)

HaventSleptForAYear · 20/05/2009 12:52

Another one jealous of those Freya bikinis.

I am a bit wary of investing in an expensive bikini.

Did it 2 years ago, foolishly, while in early pregnancy with DS2.

The bikini top is now way too big [wail].

Is mix and match out of the question (ie buy a new top although I'll never find one that matches properly)?

Joggler · 20/05/2009 12:57

The do sell them cheaper on ebay - maybe seconds et - all new though, i have bought that way before.

HaventSleptForAYear · 20/05/2009 13:00

Not enough norkage for the Freyas unfortunately - the bras & honey site got me all excited as it claimed to come up with bikinis for a 32C but then they all start at 32DD (not in my wildest dreams!)

HaventSleptForAYear · 20/05/2009 13:01

Actually colour/pattern-wise I need something like this but it has such terrible reviews that I'm not risking it.

Joggler · 20/05/2009 13:38

look at sea folly too

HaventSleptForAYear · 20/05/2009 13:39

Oh I saw some nice Seafolly stuff on figleaves (and they deliver to France!) but the reviews were by people aged 41-60...

Maybe it's just because they are the only ones with enough money to pay for it?

Joggler · 20/05/2009 13:39

begrudingly gives help to small norkers Wink

Joggler · 20/05/2009 13:42

sea folly

HaventSleptForAYear · 20/05/2009 13:48

Yes those are nice.

Unsure about whether bright yellow and pasty/freckly go well together but good place to start.

Now regretting turning down holiday nr Bordeaux in favour of UK and Normandy.

Wetsuit could be more appropriate

ThePhantomPlopper · 20/05/2009 18:13

Joggler - You are fab. Just ordered the Sea folly yellow one.

Joggler · 22/05/2009 23:02

well?

hellymelly · 22/05/2009 23:05

I will be wearing a wetsuit. And if I don't shift the stone of baby weight I still ain't got rid of then I will look like a black pudding, but that is preferable to the horrors of a bikini.

noddyholder · 22/05/2009 23:23

Sprayed myself with st tropez last night and tried black bikini again and I still like it Good for oldies I think

Joggler · 23/05/2009 11:00

the chinesey print that they also have in next arrived yesterday = very nice but cups are small imo- haev reordered in a bigger to stop spillage here

noddyholder · 23/05/2009 11:01

I would look huge in that!

Joggler · 23/05/2009 11:51

why?

noddyholder · 23/05/2009 13:10

I don't think my stomach is up to that contrasting band it would draw too much attention to it.The bra looks like a one boober too!

fourkids · 23/05/2009 13:24

I luuuurve my saress - am an absolute convert!

i too thought I could make one for much less money but have actually struggled to find suitable fabric

JohnnyTwoHats · 23/05/2009 13:30
