she does also have a little white shrug cardi that would go with it too.

Just don't blame me if you get into trouble for over spending

JeanPoole · 22/04/2009 10:53

i don't think i will get in trouble for over spending but dh always says i dress dd like shes in like house on the perey[sp]
or bree van de kamp

Yup, exactly what my dd likes - and she is old enough to say which clothes she wants to buy when we go shopping, she is able to put an outfit together too - which is more than I can manage

suwoo · 22/04/2009 11:03

What on earth does she normally wear Jean?

Who were you before? I love your new name.

JeanPoole · 22/04/2009 11:46

king how old is she again?

well i've put her in tesco 5 quid jeans today, they don't look good, and her nappy is hanging out, i do actually find dresses practical, as they last longer, say with jeans, its hard to get a fit on the waist and length, and if you do actually manage to get a fit, the fit doesn't last long.
also its a complete outfit, and it can work out cheaper than a top and bottoms.
also if its colder you can add tights and a cardi

hooray for dresses

suwoo, i had to name change to protect my rl id, so i can't really say.
ive ony been on here 2 years, so just a nobody newbie.

Oh thats s shame, I am very curious. Your new name rocks though

KingCanuteIAm · 22/04/2009 11:56

She is 4 now Jean and growing up waaayyy toooo fast!

I agree about dresses, although I hate them on principle (the principle being I was always a tom boy!) but they are practical and dd loves them so I just have to suck it up

wolfnipplechips · 22/04/2009 12:38

My dd 4 has that hairband and it truely is a nightmare, the flower is really heavy so it keeps falling forward. For the 1st 5 secs after she puts it in it is adorable but after that she starts to look mad. I think the band isn't thick enough for the weight.

Monsson so far IMO have turned out to be a bit rubbish. I bought a couple in one go and the ribbon keeps unravelling. She'd be better with some of their flower clips.

JeanPoole · 22/04/2009 13:57

king, she sounds really fun.
dd gave us a hell of a night last night crying, she had to sleep in with us, don't know what was up with her.
shes napping now

suwoo thanks
i keep thinking people really think i'm called jean, on offense to any jeans

wolf shes already got that hair bnad and it seems fine so far, she also has flower clips and i do think they are easier to keep in/not fall off

actually im going to do a little craft activity with her, decorate an old box, maybe a shoe box, to use as a box to keep all her hair bobbles in etc.
hopefully that craft activity will go better than this ams Meringue making disaster, lol
