My kids aren't at school yet, but I think I need a school run dress.

I wore a dress today and was reminded how much i love wearing dresses.

So if you don't mind, can you link me to some nice dresses for this spring and summer that would make a good 'not-quite-school-run-dress'.

Ta.

What are the criteria again?

Easy to fling on, doesn't require ironing, not too dressy (so people don't ask you where you are going), did I miss anything?

nevergoogledragonbutter · 12/04/2009 23:32

sounds about right.
i already have one that fits the description perfectly.
can't wear the same dress all summer though.
anybody got their eye on one yet?

TrillianEAstraEgg · 12/04/2009 23:34

This may not be the wisest time of night to ask...

puffling · 12/04/2009 23:38

Ths one wouldn't need ironing here

nevergoogledragonbutter · 12/04/2009 23:38

THISis one right?

OP posts:
nevergoogledragonbutter · 12/04/2009 23:39

OP posts:
puffling · 12/04/2009 23:40

TrillianEAstraEgg · 12/04/2009 23:41

TrillianEAstraEgg · 12/04/2009 23:45

Newbies? Where?

TitsalinaBumsquash · 12/04/2009 23:46

www.boohoo.com/ have some lovely dresses that are cheap as well, i have clothes from them they are really good value and they don't look cheap and nasty.

mrsmaidamess · 12/04/2009 23:46

Yes us hardened personal shoppers are too whacked out Easter Eggs to even consider browsing atm. See you in the morning....

nevergoogledragonbutter · 12/04/2009 23:46

they're everywhere trillian. not you though.
i don't recognise anyone anymore.

OP posts:
TrillianEAstraEgg · 12/04/2009 23:49

I thought 'newbies' in this case just meant anyone who didn't appreciate the extreme seriousness of the 'school run dress'

at being recognised by the famous dragonbutter

puffling · 12/04/2009 23:52

Nice and understated here

nevergoogledragonbutter · 12/04/2009 23:53

yes, don't they know how important this is?

ok so the moldies debacle has had two significant effects round here.

  1. no cod, no school run dress, no style and beauty.
  1. i am now considered famous. fnarr. woohoo, movin' on up the royalty heirarchy!

got to go to bed now.
thanks for the links guys.
soooo helpful.

Wow, I love the peacock dress puffling. Wonder if I can get one shipped over to the UK? Then I just need an event to wear it to and somenoe to pay for it
