I know it's my fault for being a cheapskate, but my trusty emus had started 'talking' so was browsing ebay and came across some uggs which were within my price range should have known better, but bought them anyway and now they are here I am pretty sure that they are fake.
My DD has some non fake ones but I can't compare them really, as hers are a different syle ( with side zip)
Mine smell funny, are really tight on the leg and have soles which are really light and sound 'hollow' if that makes sense.

Does anyone have any sure fire ways of telling please? If they are fake, what can I do? Really can't afford to lose the money ( £71) on crap

Yeah but good fakes will have fake labels made to look the same as the real ones. The Ebay sellers are the best bet to know for sure, they have lots of pictures.

I would imagine they are fake if they have a 'light flip flop sole'
mine have a really heavy solid sole
