Need shoes to go with maxi dresses, skirts ect, that i can walk miles in..

i love fatface/white stuff clothes, and am going to New York for a week at the end of May, will need shoes to go with my skirts and dresses that i'm hoping to wear.

any ideas?

Silver Birkies here too,also I wear metallic Ballet type shoes in summer too.Clarks do some with small wedge that are really comfortable.

janeite - my friend has the same problem as you so buys the 'Next' version of birkies, she said they are much better for narrow feet. (Cheaper too!)

Go for the wedged sandals. I've got flat wide feet now and they are the only thing that works for me if I want to look smart. Also stop for coffee and watch the world go by.

Oh that is very useful info - thanks Sniffy; will have a look. Silent Terror - You know, the more I look at those M&S ones the more I think they could work in a retro kind of way, if the rest of the outfit was quite current! Topshop have quite similar ones it seems.

I ordered birkies from a german website here which gives you the option of narrow fit. They also seem to have every possible style and colour. Have ordered from them twice and found them very reliable.
