Dark under-eye miracle fixer jobby whatsit - is there such a product?

I have quite dark patches under my eyes, not circles as such, but kind of 'smudges' going down from the inner part of my eye, IYSWIM

I don't have bags (unless very hungover ) or wrinkles and I drink plenty of water and cleanse & moisturise twice a day. I probably don't get quite enough sleep but do any of us?! I don't use specific eye cream, but I'm gentle around the eye area. My skin is in good condition, I'm freckly but very pale - which emphasises the darkness I think.

Am I doomed to continue to fund Touch Eclat shareholder's holidays?

Another vote for YSL Touche Eclat, its the one make up product I couldnt live without and when I go to work at 6am its all I wear, just so as I dont scare the patients

MadreInglese · 24/02/2009 16:59

It's actually a clinique one I'm using atm as I did find the touche eclat a bit over shiny.

Don't think I'm iron deficient as I give blood regularly and iron levels are always ok for that. I was just wondering if there was something I could do from the inside, instead of concealer-types IYSWIM.

Thanks for all the comments - might have a google for food intolerances/morticia eyes connection.

erase paste by benefit, or the rimmel recover liquid concealer

MerlinsBeard · 24/02/2009 17:01

i have the virgin vie version of touche eclat - its MAGIC

lou33 · 24/02/2009 17:02

touche eclat makes my eyes scaly

sifuentes · 24/02/2009 17:03

Terry who invented touche eclat does foundations which look like giant touche eclats. I have exactly the same thing as you and that helps mine a lot. if really bad then double up with some concealer. I find touche eclat is not really the right colour and a bit like being a panda in negative sometimes.

Terry is at space NK. smells nicer than Touche too.

If only drinking lots of water would make them go away...

MI - I think dark smudges can sometimes, unfortunately, just be hereditary/ down to genetics.

I've seen an ad for something expensive and techie sounding - summat like Hylexin? But have no idea if it works or what it costs (probably a LOT)

BonsoirAnna · 24/02/2009 17:12

I used to have much darker circles around my eyes in my working days of long days and short nights. Since becoming a mother and giving up full time work they have disappeared as I always get plenty of sleep.

I got that Virgin Vie one after someone on here raved about it and it IS good!

Madigan · 24/02/2009 19:04

Terrys undereye concealer (in silver pen) is absolutely brilliant - better than Touche eclat by a mile. But expensive. You can get it at Space NK. Worth the money IMO.

Clinique airbrush concealer is good..
