My brother's getting married in April this year, my baby is only 14 weeks old so I've got some baby weight to lose mostly around my tummy area (I'm a size 14 now, used to be a 12). I've been looking at dresses but I don't see how I will be able to breastfeed in them.... help please!

I've been looking at spanx too forgot how amazing they are! The neutral tights look good and would work well with a dress. floral breastfeeding dresses seem hard to come by... maybe when spring/summer arrives there may be a few more floating arround.... god luck please let us know what you eventually choose!

very pricey but would look lovely if you have brown hair or dark skin!

In November I had to go to my sisters wedding when my DD was 5 weeks old, so I sympathise.

I ended up with wide legged trousers, heels and a loose fitting top, I also had a smart cardigan. It worked really well especially as I was so nervous about feeding out in public!!

I stupidly got a wrap dress to wear first but could not get my boob out to feed!, its still in the wardrobe unworn. Top and skirt/trousers def the way to go!!

remember to be careful about fabrics eg satin is lovely but is very unforgiving of lumps and bumps and marks very easily

StealthPolarBear · 10/02/2009 18:19

I'm really sorry but I had an overwhelming urge to come on here and post "a wetsuit"

and now I have an image of you at a posh wedding in the photos holding a baby in a wetsuit, snorkel and flippers

Just ignore me - it's been a long day!

Boob dress

or jigsaw-esque camisole and cardi set

this is quite nice. You should have a look at the mamaway website anyway, I bought a breastfeeding T-shirt from there for my sister's wedding.

There are some lovely b-feeding dresses here
www.mummylooksfab.co.uk/nursing-dresses
If you decide on separates they also have some pretty nursing tops which you coudl pair with a lovely Monsoon skirt or similar.
When I went to a wedding when b-feeding DS2 as a baby I wore a cami with a light shrug and a jacket combined with a lovely patterned silk skirt from Monsoon which distracted from by baby belly. I managed to be quite discreet feeding DS.

Oooh, I got that green coloured dress and it was gorgeous. Looked brilliant for the wedding and was easy to feed in too. Yay!

the noir dress looks beautiful too
