tippex on trousers!

I know its now quite this subject.. but.. put a new pair of black work trousers on friday and managed to get a drop of tippex on them! I have put them through the wash but to no avail! anyone got any good ideas how to get it off???

freeze them and then pick it off???

Our chemistry teacher at school, Mr Binns, ran a little side line in tippex management. He would dilute your gungey tippex if you spoke to him nicely, or get it off your blazer in an emergency. The solution, I still remember, was called 1,1,1 Trichloroethane.
