this top. Is it sexy or tedious?

here with bright red pencil skirt? I have medium boobage, and a tummy I think could benefit from a bit of medicinal rouching, and I have a gorgeous black and red necklace

I fear tediousness, am torn between something insanely boho and this, which I am hoping is grown-up sexy, for casual evening

any advice welcome

CountessDracula · 23/10/2008 10:23

FairyMum · 23/10/2008 10:27

I like it. Sounds like a nice outfit!

brimfull · 23/10/2008 10:30

I not keen on black and red together

red and turquoise is nice

ReallyReally · 23/10/2008 10:49

are east sizings small? cos I ordered this too, but in a smaller size than I usually take.

is this better?

(I loved some of those tops but a combination of price and armlessness put me off most of them.. truly sorry, as there were so many links there. I'm obviously very difficult to please)

Red and black, are you going for Flamenco dancer sexy??? It's fine as far as black jumpers go but not particularly sexy, then again its all about the wearer not the clothes imo

Anna8888 · 23/10/2008 11:05

White is much sexier for evening than black.

VASTlargeginandbloodymary · 23/10/2008 11:06

Are you!

Not often i am taller than someone Am only 5'3, 5'4 if i stand on tip toes

I had you down as tall and swishy like.

I like the top Reallyreally better than the first. 12 is NOT big btw, be brave

CoolYourJets · 23/10/2008 15:03

white and red velvet? Santa.

Cream at a push. Charcoal nice.

samsonara · 23/10/2008 17:52

I would wear a really plain boring top, like a poloneck, but with interesting sleeves like
this one , then the red and black beads and the skirt both get to be shown off equally.

Swedes · 27/10/2008 16:20

I would wear a bright orange top and a fuschia wrap and fuschia shoes. Clashing brights look fantastic but keep the styles simple (no patterns and no embellishments).

Swedes · 27/10/2008 16:35

Or perhaps purple?

ReallyReally · 28/10/2008 15:21

gosh swedes really? I feel too old for that. I'm nearly 40. I'm afraid of looking batty

I did get the black wrap top because it shows off the fab necklace; but some great shoes from New Look

I don't mean bright and clashing a la Christine Hamilton.
