I want some nice silver jewellery that's as far away from Argos and H. Samuel as you can get!

this sort of thing
I like the stuff that looks like it was either made in 500BC or by a silversmith with a fine art degree.

Dont want much

Know what you mean about the links of london stuff, stroppyknickers. I actually prefer the ones where you can see lots of the cord - the mini balls ones, or the heart or ball bracelet (and you're right - there's even less silver in those, so presumably an even bigger markup).

I also spotted the Mulberry brooch in a magazine, and fell in love with the abstract one (but it's about £80).

try her - some of the smaller necklaces are quite reasonable, and it is all lovely.

I like the Chris Lewis stuff - bought a pal the earrings as a present and they were lush. Its so hard buying jewellery for yourself

Thanks everyone, great suggestions!
Think I will go with this designer as designs can be personalised and have you seen the prices?

Thats lovely MO.

This is what I had made from Etsy.
I had it stamped so it was personalied too.
Each of the stones is one my my dc's birthstones and then under each on has their initials.

I'm so pleased with it. I never take it off now.

Another vote for Etsy, and I also covet quite a lot of the stuff on Sundance
