What to wear to uber trendy gig tonight?

The main objective is to look effortlessly stylish.

The outfit must work with my coat du jour. A gun metal grey pea cot with massive turquoise and gold buttons (so nice)

I'm thinking jeans to balance the bling of the coat, but , meh.

Don't get this checked shirt thing at all.

No I don't either. fleecy lumberjack type things, artfully bagged out around the boobs.

And I forgot to mention knee knockingly long necklaces, seriously some of them were tripping hazards, I'd not heard of that trend.
