is fucking awful! I was in there yesterday - who on earth would put a black denim puffball skirt on their baby?

Anyone else seen it?

twinset im sorry i dont like that, it looks like something baby annabel would wear.

twinsetandpearls · 27/09/2008 22:34

this is cute but I need to get off this thread,

notnowbernard · 27/09/2008 22:34

TSAP - is what I nearly bought for DN

But has got Klass all over the legs

REJECTED

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 22:35

Does anyone ever put those tiny hats on their newborns? I never have and always steer clear of babygros with them attached to the hanger.

Lizzz, about the hanger and that you have actually sold any! Is this too early in our relationship to ask for discount for my next pram purchase?

paddingtonbear1 · 27/09/2008 22:35

An extra £2 for the hanger?!! That is seriously taking the p*. I bet you're embarassed to ask them if they want it Lizzz!

twinsetandpearls · 27/09/2008 22:35

No need to apologise, the closest I will get to a baby is a baby annabel so maybe it is just as well.

twinsetandpearls · 27/09/2008 22:38

I think you are all being a bit mean, if someone ahd offered me money when dd was a baby to put my name to some baby clothes I would have done. If someone would have paid to read my hormonal rantings in a book again I would have done.

twinsetandpearls · 27/09/2008 22:39

also cute, now twinny walk away from the baby thread and keep those broody legs shut

Lizzzombie · 27/09/2008 22:41

If a customer does ever buy a hanger I will also offer to sell her Mylenes' cd and Mylenes' book.

Needless to say, we have excess stock of both of these items too!

I am awaiting with eagerness the Mylene Klass maternity collection. She is also redesigning the breast pad, the maternity pad and the nipple shield.
(some of this could be Hearsay though)

EachPeachPearMum · 27/09/2008 22:42

Wow- that leatherette jacket!!!
My eyes! My eyes!

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 22:44

PMSL at Myleene taking over the maternity/baby world. Good god, if that is what happens when you get your baps out in a white bikini on National TV, there must be some lusting Executives willing to throw away a load of dosh for a load of tosh.

I don't like baby clothes with the shop name written on them, why would I want her name on them? I've nothing against her particularly, but I don't get it.

Lizzzombie · 27/09/2008 22:47

Personally, I reckon that she had no option but to sell her soul to Mothercare, to pay for the tummy tuck and boob job which she needed after giving birth so she could continue with the M&S campaigns.

(unless that is, anyone has heard a rumour of Mylene bringing out an exercise dvd? "Loose your yummy mummy tummy" or something perhaps?)

twinsetandpearls · 27/09/2008 22:47

Me neither elkiedee, it drives me mad when next and gap do that to their children's clothes. I must be blind though as I can't see any name on their. I have had a self measured and poured drink in a rather large glass though.

pgwithnumber3 · 27/09/2008 22:48

Ohh, is that true Lizzz or are you starting a vicious rumour?

OP posts:
electra · 27/09/2008 22:48

Oh no, I can't stand advertising on clothes. Even Gap is cottoning on to the idea that people don't like it. I shall stick to Boden...

shhhh · 28/09/2008 20:40

ffs £42 for a leather jacket...like who would put a baby into a leather jacket ...I agree, im a bit hot and cold with ole myleene...Just seems that since she has become a mum its as though she is an "even better person" iykiwm... Like she can't do any wrong...

Good luck to her, but not keen on the collection..

andyrobo237 · 28/09/2008 20:59

Don't like any of the boys stuff - all too dark and dull for me! I have a red head lad and he would look odd in her clothes!

Never mind, I will find the Holy Grail of decent stuff for boys that does not cost a fortune!

I like simple stuff!!

Woah!!! this is my first peek at your world, and Mums you ARE funny. As I just posted, - (but then hit the wrong button and LOST the bloody post!) - I just happened upon your friendly discussions about MK and her new Mothercare collection in black! I was googling to try and find out more after my friend calling me to tell me about it ... NOT because I love MK or Mothercare, but because, after 14 years or so of my main job being as a mum, I have spent the last year working on a new business called ... 'babyblack'!!! - it does what it says on the label. Anyway, after laughing heartily at all your 'encouraging' words to Myleen I just thought that this was too good an op to miss - MY clothes (0-4) are NOT all puff ball and leather jacket, they are casual, kind of groovy kids clothes made from soft, soft bamboo and other kind fabrics and they should be ready to sell by the end of Oct via the interweb. In the meantime, it's a pleasure to join in the fun! J x
