"Using pencil and paper instead of a needle and thread, our artist Joy Lavik creates original artwork that reflects her love of the traditional art of needlework. Intricate Hardanger embroidery, cross stitching, French knots, lacy eyelet - even the flower painting folk art called rosemaling - all show up in Joy's work.
For inspiration, Joy often looks to nature. You'll see graceful flowers, leaves, shafts of wheat, snowflakes and bright-eyed birds in her art. Our special puff ink process makes each tiny "stitch" and "brush stroke" seem real. It's nice to know that Joy and Originals are keeping ancient forms of handiwork alive...with today's marvelous screen printing."
Isn't it super?
Here is your Christmas jumper - happy holidays from me and idiot brother
"Cross-stitching in teal and white on our celestial blue sweatshirt takes a fresh approach to the look of Scandinavian stitchery. Printed in puff ink for the look of lovingly crafted hand stitching, this deeply veed design draws attention to your face. We've finished off our cozy sweatshirt with a dainty design at the back neck."
