is navy no longer an ok colour?

I know Next diecrtory, m and S and John Lewis are not the trendiest places to shop, but I expected to be able to find some navy trousers to wear with a cream wool jacket for a September wedding. No navy anywhere? Am I hideously off-trend (I hate the on-trend phrase) to even consider navy?

i think black and navy would look horrid together

i used to wear navy a lot years ago but i cant imagine wearing it now

and especially not with red or white
