I detest those jackets on men with nehru collars - and if a child had one I wouldn't like it either. Cravats are yuck too

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2008 14:34

tank tops however, especially hand knitted are cute, but not with a collar shirt...

nappyaddict · 31/07/2008 14:34

PT any good?

What is wrong with short sleeve shirts? What else is a bloke supposed to wear on a night out when its hot?? I love my boys in shirts and they are 1 and 4 (although admittedly I rarely iron them!)

paolosgirl · 31/07/2008 14:38

You have a strong opinion about shirts on small boys? Really? Honestly?

Crikey - I have a strong opinion on our foerign policy, environmental issues and Tibet - but shirts on small boys? Honestly????

Umm...

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2008 14:38

what's right with them ?! A regular shirt will look fine

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2008 14:40

why can't I have a strong opinion on shirts ? I can also have strong feelings about important things, am simply answering the op and saying how I feel - short sleeved shirts on on men and little boys aren't nice.

melrose · 31/07/2008 14:40

except that a regular shirt may be a tad warm on a boiling hot evening! I'd rather have short sleeve over sweeaty pits!

GrapefruitMoon · 31/07/2008 14:40

I don't object to shirts, just to ironing them! Ds2 has had loads passed on from his cousin (SIL buys him loads and seems to love ironing!). They usually get worn once, then languish in the ironing mountain until he has outgrown them!

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2008 14:42

roll up the sleeves then !! can anyone tell I'm avoiding going to Sainsbury's /

what is wrong with shirts on boys.

I love mine in shirts, and altho DS1 is not so keen anymore, DS2 chooses them and would wear them all the time given half the chance.

he even asked for them for school, even tho I thought t's more practical.

looks so nice tho
