Why is matching gear so irritating?

I hate things that match. Shoes / bag. Pram / nappy bag. Two children dressed the same. Men in coloured shirts with the same coloured tie. Shirt / tie sets. I don't even like matching plates.

Should I be in AIBU? Or having a little light therapy?

just googled that eternal beau stuff, at least it's better than some of the crap crockery people buy, like this, I can't believe people are bidding on it, although maybe they are intreigued by the 4 bowels that come with it (what would one do with four bowels?)

Oh dear, I do recognise that Eternal Beau stuff, though I never realised it was called Eternal Beau. It reminds me of staying in guesthouses and oily fried eggs.

LOL OMDB I suppose with four bowels you would need a lot of loo roll...
