Please help - Gold strappy sandals needed - Indian wedding advice

Hi Ladies

We have been invited to an indian wedding soon and am wearing a very beautiful lilac/mint green lengha with gold thread.

Am trying to find some nice gold sandals in a size 4 to finish the outfit but am struggling - If only had thought about it before all the sales started.

Will really appreciate it if somebody can point me in the right direction - do you think I need clutch bag or something too?

Am also looking for sandals for DD too in size 13 - she is also wearing lengha - blue and pink but looks like it has silver stitching instead so am thinking silver sandals.

Have been told by another friend not to wear undies as lenghas are heavy but norks are size 32gg so am thinking not such a good idea - any advice would be really welcome.

sorry one more question - what to do with hair - have longish shoulder length mousy blonde bob but am at hairdressers week before wedding so will consider anything.

Am going to be the only white family going - with over 300 guests - so want to get it right as I know all the other ladies are going to be stunning.

Hi sorry to but in, have you tried Unze Shoes London for sandals? You can buy online and I think they have next day delivery, sizing is on the generous side!

Hi op can I ask where you're based? Most towns have an Asian area within an hour's drive and you'll be able to pick up shoes (unze? Or similar) costume jewellery sets to match your outfit, bangles, binds and even henna (if you're feeling brAve and creative to decorate your hands)! And all those things will be cheap! The costune sets can be a fiver for earrings, necklace and headers (tikka which is prettier than a Bindi) accesorise style (but not as long lasting).

Good luck and enjoy the festivities!

Ps wear underwear! I've never heard of that before , sounds odd to not bother. :-/

With hair, depends on if you get a tikka or not and how long your hair is?

With Indian weddings colours can never be too bold, there's never too much glitter / diamanté!
