Need a “nice top” 🤔

I’m going to a nice celebration dinner between Christmas and new year and I want a nice top to go with some black velvet wide leg trousers…

I’m large of bust so a lot of tops tend to hang from my boobs which is annoying. I don’t like anything too clingy around my stomach. Maybe a wrap top or A line? Anyone seen one in the shops and thought “that would go nicely with black trousers for a nice do”?? Would prefer not to spend too much (up to about £50)

Next has some nice tops that would do.

I’ve seen these in real life, the button through shirt is really nice, the cream and the black are the same top, I like that you don’t have to have it fully buttoned up or tucked in

Maybe an embellished cardigan or jumper?

I do like a nice cardigan, I bought a nice one from JL last week but it’s a bit plain. Want something a bit more special.

I have this, also have a large bust and it sits / fits really nicely. I’ve worn it with black silk wide leg trousers and jeans and it was nice with both, I think it would be lovely with velvet.

Have you ever tried the Baukjen wrap top? I’ve got it in a few colours, it is plain but looks great on and can be really dressed up with sparkly earrings or longer length necklace so it sits in the V.
It comes in lots of colours and actually drapes lower than shown on the John Lewis model here.

I presume someone larger of bust would want to wear a bra?

I think you need something fitted on top op to counteract the wide trousers.
